Download DAD
Pick your computer. Your license key works on either — it's in the welcome email you got at checkout.
Which Mac do I have? Apple menu → About This Mac. “Chip: Apple…” means Apple chip; “Processor: …Intel…” means Intel.
First launch
Windows: run DAD.exe — it's the installer. The app isn't code-signed yet, so Windows may show a one-time “Windows protected your PC” screen. Click More info → Run anyway.
Mac: open the .dmg, drag Dash Auto Download onto Applications, then open it from Applications and click Open. If nothing happens, Control-click the app → Open. When macOS asks to find devices on your local network, click Allow — that's how DAD finds your dashes. Download from this page: a copy forwarded through WhatsApp won't open on a Mac.
Activate in 3 steps
- Open DAD. On first launch it asks for your license key.
- Paste the key from your email (looks like
MYCH-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) and click Activate. - You're set — DAD scans your network and starts pulling sessions from your dashes.
